Tortilla

Low Calorie Pizza Tortilla

Tortillas are a great way to make a healthy and low-calorie pizza. They are much thinner than traditional pizza dough which means they cook faster and have fewer calories. I am using Carb Balance Tortillas in this recipe to lower the calories even more. You also don’t have to mess around with making pizza dough so its a great hack for a quick meal. Plus, you can easily add your favorite toppings without overloading on cheese and sauce.

Toppings

For the toppings, I like to use a variety of vegetables. On this particular pizza, I used turkey pepperoni and pepperoncini with fat-free mozzarella and store=bought pizza sauce. You can use any type of meat or vegetable that you like or have on hand.

When it comes to toppings, the sky is the limit. In this recipe, we are making a simple pepperoni pizza, but you can use whatever you like some great options include veggies like mushrooms, onions, and peppers. If you are looking for a protein-packed pizza, try adding chicken or turkey. And of course, don’t forget the sauce! A light tomato, pesto, or Alfredo sauce is perfect for this recipe.
