A Delicious and Easy Pulled Chicken Slider Recipe

Looking for an easy pulled chicken sliders recipe? Look no further! This delicious and simple dish is perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re hosting a party or just looking for a quick and easy meal, these pulled chicken sliders will hit the spot. Best of all, chicken sliders are super simple to make – just follow these step-by-step instructions and you’ll be ready to go in 30 minutes!

The Chicken

In this recipe, we are using 2 pounds of good old chicken breast for our sliders. It’s easy to cook and pulls apart easily. You can also use chicken tenderloin or chicken thighs if you prefer for your chicken sliders.

Chicken Broth

You could certainly use water to cook your chicken in the pressure cooker but we prefer to use a broth. Broth helps to keep the chicken moist as it cooks and also adds some extra flavor. We like to use chicken broth, but you can also use beef or vegetable broth.

Seasoning

We like to keep things simple when it comes to seasoning our chicken sliders. We just use a little salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. You could also add in some other herbs and spices if you like but we find that this combo is perfect for pulled chicken sliders.

BBQ Sauce

For the BBQ sauce, we like to use Sweet Baby Rays, a store-bought variety. However, you can certainly make your own if you prefer. We like to use a sweeter BBQ sauce for these pulled chicken sliders but feel free to use your favorite variety.

Hot Sauce.

The hot sauce is completely optional but we like to add a little bit for some extra flavor. We like to use Cholula hot sauce but you can use your favorite hot sauce or buffalo sauce.

Red Onion

We like to add diced red onion to our chicken mixture to give it a little crunch and some extra flavor. Cook your onions in advance if you like them softer or omit them altogether if you’re not a fan of onions.

Buns

We like to use mini slider buns or Hawaiian sweet rolls for this pulled chicken sliders recipe but you can certainly use regular-sized buns if you prefer. You could also get creative and use other types of bread such as dinner rolls, biscuits, or even mini bagels.

Toppings.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to toppings for your pulled chicken sliders. We like to keep it simple and just use some shredded lettuce and pickles but you can get as creative as you like. Other popular toppings include cheese, tomatoes, onions, shredded cheese and coleslaw.
